I call my peace “The flying future”. My Doodle4Google design shows drones of all kinds in the air forming the word Google. In the future I believe we will be reliant on drones for both entertainment and delivery. This would be a more clean way of getting mail then delivery trucks and large cargo planes. My process is I looked for anything which I could have a semi-circle and added helicopter blades to it showing that it was a drone in the air.

I think in the future there will be self driving cars and clean energy. Everything will look different from how we see it today. For Communication there will be some kind of glasses they could put on and see a image of who they are talking to. There will be still buses but self drove and cars. There will never be world peace though as long as humans still have a since of Humanity in them. In the future we will no longer have delivery trucks to pollute the environment we will use drones to delver. Also we will no longer need to pay for large cargo planes and etc causing less pollution.
As an artist I Explore. for this project I tried to stable this with tape only at first, it did not work. The peaces continuously fell of causing me to redo those peaces. I picked up cardboard over mostly styrofoam which I was familiar with. As an artist I Engage an Persist. I went over the whole project and checked for stability and fixed it. My project kept falling apart because it was to heavy and the tape could not hold it, to fix this I admit I went a little heavy on hot glue. Today I learned sometimes for stability you cant just rely on one material make sure you use multiple. This project is not finished yet but when it is it will be sturdy. As an artist I Develop Skills.
For this project I learned multiple new skills but mainly I learned how to mold paper to use it to surdy my project seen in the image above. I gained skill in molding cardboard to make art by using hot glue and tape to keep it sturdy I did a spiral motion to do this. I discovered I am talented in mashaying paper because it was successful. As an Artist I Developed my craft. For this project I learned how to use a knife to use both small and large cuts to make art. I gained skills with Acrylic Paint by using it to make small specs of paint. I do believe i am somewhat talented in using a life to make Styrogami because it only fell apart once. As an Artist I Engaged and Persisted. One challenge that occurred was how to make good cuts that were not cutting thin peaces that would break so I maid sure that it was at least ash thick as the blade i use. I tried using "normal glue" buy the whole thing fell apart so I restarted and used hot glue to fix this and it stayed. I learned that some glue tactics work and others don't. As an Artist I Observe. Bye observing my surroundings I got the idea for the top of the artwork bye looking how easily plat leafs moved and I thought it would be interesting to incorporate this into my artwork. I captured this bye using only a small dot of glue as its support allowing it to easily sway. Close observation also helped me find ways to make sure my artwork was still structurally intact. The fun theory is a theory which states if a mundane task is more fun to do, more people will want to do it. My idea for a fun theory is to use a VR (virtual reality) headset and connect it to a treadmill so people can walk anywhere even in a mythical place.
Throughout this video "Embrace the shake" I learned that limitations can be what makes our art unique. Also how just because we can no longer do on thing does not mean we can not do something else that is still amazing. We can always make our own art and even when our art is destroyed it is still beautiful. Nomader what happens we can still make our art. Art can have limitations and still be unique.
As an Artist I Envision. For the eyes i used my own Unique ideas to make a combination of colors because at is how a cat's eye would look. I took the "original" halloween black cat and replaced its face with white to give it a "bandit" look. I this was accidental because I just painted the midface last and I liked the look of it. As an Artist I Developed my Craft. I learned a new technique in using paint to do this, because this is the first time using paint. I gained skill in colored pencils by using them to merge and make a cool color in the draft seen above. I believe I am talented in using paint because it turned out well and I enjoyed it. TAs an artist I Engage and Persist. I responded to challenges and mistakes by painting over and redoing them. The biggest unplanned thing that happened was the paint being wet and being ripped off the pumpkin. I responded to this bye letting the paint dry then go back and repaint any spots. Through this I learned artist need patience. As an artist i Engaged and Persisted. I started with a slight outline and continued doing slight drawing of a thing I somewhat wanted it to look like. My art took an unexpected turn when the whale failed so i had do do some kind of coverup, so I drew a narwhal. Despite my my failures on this i continued trying to make sure this gets done I drew some reef like objects and went with it. I persisted with an okay layout that gave me multiple choices of what I wanted to do with the final peace. I learned that even if you fail you can still make it look good enough to happily present. As an artist I Developed skills: I learned to both use and smear soft pastels to make a nice start of a reef. I gained more knowledge with pencil which I used to outline one thing it was much easier to work whet it was ready to be colored. I gave it a little hard push and a circling motion to get the effect at the top right. I feel I am somewhat talented with pastels because I am able to make a reef with the patels allowing me to discover how i want to do this in a way which is pleasing to the eye. As an artist I explored. I explored many bright colors to make it eye catching I was afraid this was not going to workout so I was somewhat hesitant but it ended up nicely. I was trying to avoid yellow for most of the peace but they I tryed it at liked the color it gave which complimented the other colors. I explored the pastells to see the variety of ways they can be used this was new to be because I am not use to using pastels to make something of the proportion. As an artist I observed.
I closely observed reefs in which I realized that they have almost unrealistic bright colors, this influenced my artwork because I was not set on trying to dool my colors to make it less bright. This was able to allow me to use the bright colors I love and give it an overall good effect. This is important to my success because it gave it a reef under the sea look and not some kind of polluted ocean feel. This makes me as happy to look at as the real reefs were. |
