As an artist I learned to develop my craft. I learned about planning ahead by first making an image of what it should look like this was my first time doing it, so in other words I learned how to do it. An object I used when I first started doing this was a ruler in which I used it to remove my finger prints from the clay making it flatter. I discovered talent in forming clay now I know multiple ways to make shapes with it. As an artist I express. My art intense to show thing I have and or love in my life, such as the tree to show family and the connecting arms to show friendship. Their are very few but some cuts in the tree showing that their has been hardship in life. My carvings are also of things I like, such as a dog and a cat to show how much I like animals. As an artist I reflect. At the end I went back and fixed my carvings making them much better then they originally were. Reflecting on my original drawing helped me make my carvings look better and feel more like me. I learned that it is easier (For me) to carve clay then it is to paint.
